All packages include items as noted. There will be no refunds for any unused elements of the program, nor for late arrival or early departure from the program dates.

CANCELLATIONS: Your initial deposit of $500 is non-refundable and is required to hold your reservation.  Additional $1,000 per person is due February 1, 2015 and final full payment is due April 1, 2015. If the Fitness Adventure is cancelled by the organizers, you will receive a full refund.  If you cancel by April 1, 2015 you will receive a refund of your payment of $1000 and will forfeit your deposit of $500.  Cancellations after April 1, 2015 are not refundable.  There are no refunds for passengers who fail to appear or choose to leave early nor for any unused meals or other features of the packages

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION: Transportation from Hilo Airport to the Retreat Resort will be scheduled for the date, flight and arrival times you have advised us. Any changes must be made at least 72 hours prior or there will be no refund as services + staff will already be scheduled.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT: Check in starts at 4:00 PM – Check out is 11:00 AM. All rooms must be vacated and keys returned by check out time. Late checkouts are subject to availability.

DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY: The resort tries to maintain a healthy environment for staff and guests. No drugs or hard liquors are allowed on Kalani grounds. Beer and wine are permitted. Kalani reserves the right to expel anyone who does not comply with this policy.

PAYMENTS: The financial timetables outlined in this Agreement must be closely adhered to. We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). If deposits are not paid by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.

HOUSEKEEPING LIGHT SERVICES / GREEN SERVICE: Housekeeping staff service all guest rooms at your request (go to Guest Services), which includes removal of trash, general surface cleaning, making beds, cleaning of bathrooms, sweeping floors, and removing and replacing towels as necessary. On the fourth day of your 6 night group stay, a full sheet change will be done to all guest rooms. Additional housekeeping requests, or variations to standard services may be subject to an additional fee.

LIABILITY: We recommend that retreat participants, if they have no other coverage, obtain travel insurance for the duration of their stay. All retreat participants are required to sign a resort liability waiver upon arrival as well as the Gilad’s Fitness Adventure program liability waiver.

AWARENESS OF KALANI’S RESORTS MISSION: Participants + guests are aware of and understand the following points of the resort’s mission: (1) I fully support Kalani’s nature, culture and wellness educational mission. I understand that Kalani is in a rural agrarian community. I attest that as participant, guest, teacher or student, I am herewith participating in an agricultural community sustainability process and that agriculture is a core component of all activities at Kalani. (2) The KH-managed properties are privately owned and KH reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. KH, property owners and associates will not be responsible for on-site or off-site accidents or injury or for loss of money, jewelry, or other valuables incurred by myself, guests, family or associates. (3) The above program fee includes membership registration and authorization to participate in KH educational programs, including free hula classes and self-guided native plant treks.
