13. BIG ISLAND ZIP LINE Your adventure begins when you step foot onto a six wheel Pinzgauer and head up along the North Kohala mountainside. Once on the course, there's 8 zip lines, 2 bridges (1 wooden, 1 suspension), 3 waterfalls and a cantilevered lanai called the "Mac Nut Hut" overlooking a 31' waterfall. Snack included of freshly made bread sticks & banana cake, with fresh local fruit kabobs served in a pineapple boat plus juice and water. Tours are Monday thru Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm, on the hour and Sunday's, 10:00am to 1:00pm, on the hour. Must be between 80 - 270 lbs. COST: $176.50 Per Person
14. ATV ADVENTURES Ride your own All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) through beautiful North Kohala. Tour will guide you through spectacular scenery and share with you the passion of our heritage. You will experience genuine history, culture and a new appreciation of our REAL Hawaii. Driver and Rider requirements apply. *15. HAWAIIAN LUAU DINNER + SHOW – Sat, Sun and Wed** Don’t miss the traditional Hawaiian Feast with Island Entertainment!!! Every Sunday and Wednesday, you are treated to the best luau on the Big Island at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott and Outrigger Resort Hotel. The evening begins with the lighting of the tiki torches. You are greeted island style with a shell lei and met with the fragrance of fresh flowers mixed with the aroma of your scrumptious luau buffet dinner. See how ancient Hawaiians cooked in underground ovens in the Imu Ceremony. Get a lesson on how to tie your pareau (sarong), and if you are lucky, may even get to learn a Tahitian dance. The evening continues on with songs and dances of Polynesia, done by a professional large cast of island singers and dancers doing songs from Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa, Tonga and New Zealand. 5:30 to 8:30pm with open bar till 8:00pm. 16. MAUNA KEA SUMMIT AND STARS ADVENTURE ...A journey through space and time... From sea level to the high alpine at 13, 500 ' elevation, the drive to the summit of Mauna Kea illustrates the diversity of our island's landscape. Once at the summit enjoy spectacular views of the horizon, Haleakala on Maui, Mauna Kea's world-class array of telescopes and the famous Mauna Kea sunset. As daylight fades, descend to a lower elevation where interpretive guides will reveal the wonders of our Hawaiian night skies. Includes: Hot picnic style dinner, cookies, hot beverages, bottled water parkas and warm gloves, hotel pick up 2:30 pm; return 9:30 pm from Waikoloa Hilton or Marriott or from Kings' Shops. COST: $210.00 pp incl tax and tip to driver/guide, max 14 guests per van Restrictions: Must be at 16 years of age. Guest should be able to hike on uneven or rocky terrain.
