1. HIDDEN VALLEY FALLS KAYAK ADVENTURE
Kayak on a delightful downwind paddle almost two miles up the placid
Huleia Stream. You will paddle through the Huleia National Wildlife
Refuge and pass the Alekoko, or Menehune Fishpond, which is a very
interesting example of the ancient’s fishing and aquaculture methods, all
the while at the base of the Haupu Mountain Range, a dramatic and
majestic 2000' shield volcano. Such movies as Raiders of the Lost Ark,
Jurassic Park and it’s sequel Lost World, were filmed in
this area.
During your hike you will be stopping at swimming holes with rope
swings and a series of 3 pool-drop waterfalls known as Hidden Falls. Your
choice of single or double kayak and includes water resistant bags,
snacks, bottled water and cold juices. Swimsuits are recommended plus
shorts, t-shirt, windbreaker or light rain coat, footwear such as Teva
type sandals with heelstraps or aqua socks with tread, bug spray and
waterproof camera. Meet at Outfitters Kauai on Poipu Road. Monday through
Friday 8 am to 12:30 pm. Guests staying at east side or north shore resports check-in at the
Kayak Shack at Nawiliwili Small Boat Harbor, Monday through Friday 8:45am to 12Noon.

5. WAIMEA CANYON EXPERIENCE
This tour passes Alekoko Fish Pond, constructed in one night
by Menehunes (Hawaiian Elves), continues to Hanapepe
Valley, Port Allen, to Waimea Town where Captain
Cook first landed and to the site of the old Russian Fort. The tour
continues to Waimea Canyon, the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Visit the
magnificent Kalalau Valley Lookout - weather permitting.

6. BIKE DOWNHILL - CANYON TO COAST
After check-in, your morning begins with a van ride to the Waimea Canyon
(elevation 3,500 ft.); then some fresh brewed Kauai coffee and hot muffins
before your journey. With helmets, state of the art equipment and wide,
comfortable seats, you begin your 12 miles of winding road from the famous
Waimea Canyon (our Grand Canyon) to the shore of the blue Pacific ocean.
There will be stops along the way for beautiful photo opportunities,
interesting narration on diverse topics ranging from history to culture and
legends. 6:00 am to 10:30 am daily and 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm Monday through
